Her Mission

After the death of Betsie ten Boom, Corrie was released from Ravensbruck in late December 1944 and returned to Holland.  As soon as World War II had ended, she began her travels around the world.   In each country she told anyone who would listen that there is no pit so deep that the love of God is not deeper still.
"When the worst happens in the life of a child of God," she declared, "the best remains, and the very best is yet to be."

The heart of her message was the good news about Jesus Christ.   "The Lord Jesus invites you to come to Him," she said, "and confess your sin and receive Him as your Savior and Lord.  He will forgive your sins.  He will never turn anybody away.  Everyone can come to him.  The only person who cannot come to Him is the one who thinks he does not need  to come."

There were three aspects about the good news of Jesus Christ which she taught with particular passion:

Forgiveness

"When Jesus Christ tells us to forgive our enemies, He gives us the power He demands of us."

All over the world, she gave the example (as told in The Hiding Place) of being enabled to forgive those who had caused the deaths of her father, her sister, her brother, and her nephew.

The Return of Jesus Christ

"The Lord Jesus is coming again soon. He has promised. Are you ready? Are you at peace with God and man?"

The Christian's Wealth in Christ

"Live as rich as you are in Jesus Christ. We often live as paupers when in fact we are the children of the King of kings."

She expounded on the all-sufficiency of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Christian's spiritual riches.
