MATH 2309 (3-3-0) Introduction to Linear AlgebraAn introduction to the fundamentals of linear algebra, including Gaussian elimination, solution of systems of linear equations, finite dimensional vector spaces, matrices, and determinants. The main emphasis of the course is on applications and computational methods, with a view to facilitate the use of linear algebra in computer science and the natural and social sciences. Fall, Spring.
Prerequisite: MATH 1303, 1307, or 1402.
