Dallas Baptist University, established in 1898, continues its emphasis on excellence, servant leadership, and Christ-centered education. It is that commitment that has moved DBU into the forefront of Christian higher education in the Dallas area, and has driven recent enrollment figures past 5,400.
With almost 3,000 adult and graduate students, DBU is proud to have the oldest, and one of the most respected, adult education programs in Texas. As we enjoy the excitement of growth, we also continue to expand our opportunities for service. With an increasing number of our adult students living and working in the North Dallas region, we are focusing renewed energy on meeting the educational and degree completion needs of this expanding market.
While DBU has certainly been no stranger to the Collin County area over the past years, with a service center and numerous class extension sites, August 2001 marked the beginning of a new, bold move as Dallas Baptist University opened DBU North. Since that first semester, enrollment has quadrupled at DBU North, and the facility has been enlarged to accommodate an even greater volume of students.
At DBU North you can not only hear more about DBU’s undergraduate and graduate programs, apply for admission, receive academic counseling, register for classes, and make tuition payments, but you can also attend undergraduate or graduate classes as you work towards the completion of your degree. DBU North offers a full rotation of classes leading to the completion of undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Management, Psychology, and Communication, as well as graduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Management (MAM), Education (MED), School Counseling (MEDSC), and Counseling (MAC).
If completing an undergraduate or graduate degree would put you on the track for advancement in your job, or if it would simply fulfill a lifelong dream, let us tell you how DBU North can make your ambitions a reality.
