have access to the same Library services and privileges enjoyed
by our on-campus faculty - just in a different way.
The Distance Learning Librarian is always ready to "hit
the road" and visit you and your students at any of our
off-campus sites. Debbi Richard is YOUR personal librarian,
providing a variety of services to support your students'
information needs.

packet for each student.
- Sessions
usually include power point presentations and online demonstrations.
- Scheduled
at professor's request.
- Choose
from these topics:
- Library
resource instruction - customized demonstration of relevant
databases; search strategies; evaluation of information
resources; ebooks; online Library catalog.
- Research
process - step-by-step model of effective research process
for papers and projects; identification and evaluation
of resources; topic selection and development of thesis
statement; process vs. product; citations and bibliographies.
