Master of Arts in Worship Leadership
Jim Lemons, Ph.D., Acting Director

The Master of Arts in Worship Leadership is a unique program designed to engage worship leaders in a holistic study of Christian worship in order to educate the Church both individually and corporately in the theological and practical dimensions of worship. The program provides "worship leaders"— whether they are pastoral, educational, music, student (youth), or otherwise— a sound theological, transformational, and practical program for worship foundation and practice.

Why DBU's M.A. in Worship Leadership?

The Master of Arts in Worship Leadership degree provides today's worship leaders with a  biblical, theological, historical, and practical foundation in worship.  This unique program of study, grounded in the truths of Christian worship, equips worship leaders to effectively lead in experiential and transformational worship for today's church.

Student Testimonial

“After more than 30 years in the ministry, I thought I had focused on the essence of ministry, but my M.A. in Worship Leadership broadened my view and better prepared me for ministry .” - Sarah Stafford
