Dallas Baptist University announces the newest addition to its growing number of schools and degree programs—the Gary Cook Graduate School of Leadership. This school offers a Master of Arts in Christian Education, a Master of Arts in Christian Education: Childhood Ministry, a Master of Arts in Christian Education: Student Ministry, a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry, a Master of Arts in Global Leadership, a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, a Master of Arts in Worship Leadership, a Master of Education in Higher Education, an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies.

"We found that many students and practitioners had most of the knowledge-base to serve, but they were uncertain how to implement this knowledge," explained Dr. Bernie Spooner, associate dean of the Gary Cook Graduate School of Leadership. Because of many requests coming from students for this type of program, DBU decided to move forward with the Gary Cook Graduate School of Leadership and established the degree programs in response to this need.

"This is an exciting time to be a student at DBU with the addition of this new school," said Dr. Cook, president of Dallas Baptist University. "I am happy to have so many talented faculty joining the University, and we believe the Lord has already chosen each student who will be part of the School of Leadership."
