DBU Start Page  You will be able to look at the schedule and check the library for offerings through this site.
AltaVista: Main Page is a search engine for finding information on the web. You should become acquainted with using AltaVista for simple searches, using it as an index.
Yahoo is a search engine for finding information on the web, but is set up similarly to a table of contents rather than an index. This is more useful when you are looking from the general to the particular.
Smithsonian Institution provides resources of the museum and research centers.

A Sociological Tour Through Cyberspace is probably the best website for sociology students. In includes general sociological resources, theory, data resources, research papers, imagination, and inquiries.
Society of Applied Sociology is the home of the SAS, which has several good links.

American Sociological Association is the home of the ASA, which also includes links.
Baylor - Sociology home page is the home page of the sociology department at Baylor University, with links to several others including The Center for Community Research and Development (CCRD).
School Psychology Resources Online is a great site for beginning to explore social psychology.
Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction (SSSI) Homepage deals primarily with interactionist research.
Southern Sociological Society is the home of the SSS, which also includes links.
Southwestern Sociological Association home page is the home page of the SSA, which is a part of the Southwestern Social Science Association.

Crime Statistics/Rates Link Guide and Tutorial gives basic information on crime data as well as links to other sources.
Justice Information Center (NCJRS) is the website of the National Criminal Justice Reference Service. It includes information on corrections, courts, crime prevention, criminal justice statistics, drugs and crime, current events, international news, juvenile justice, law enforcement, research and evaluation, victims, and current highlights.  
U.S. Department of Justice covers everything from fugitives to juvenile crime.
NACJD-Download Data is the center for data relating to crime and justice form the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (Bureau of Justice Statistics, National Institute of Justice, and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention).
Prison Fellowship Ministries' Homepage is the website for Prison Fellowship, which deals with the criminal justice system.
