Please note: DBU Housing opens up one week before orientation and the start of class.
Please note: F-1 visa students may enter the country no more than 30 days before the start date on their I-20 (section 5).
Transportation
DBU vans operate from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Flights must leave/arrive at Dallas-Fort Worth
International Airport after 8:00 a.m. or before 10:00 p.m.
Let the International Admissions Office know at least one week in advance when you will be
coming, and a DBU van will be scheduled to pick you up at the airport: Request Airport Pickup
Expenses
The amount of money shown on the I-20 is approximate. You will need to bring extra
spending money.
You are required to pay the entire semester's tuition in full at the time of registration.
Wire transfers take a minimum of 10 days to be processed.
You will be assisted in opening a bank account upon your arrival.

Conduct
DBU prohibits all alcoholic beverages and illicit drugs on campus.
Smoking is prohibited on campus.
Undergraduate students are required to attend chapel while you are enrolled at DBU.
Freshmen must attend 3 times a week, otherwise chapel is 2 times a week.

Medical Requirements
The Tuberculosis test is a requirement for all DBU students.
The Meningitis vaccine is a requirement for all DBU students.
The Tdap and MMR vaccines are a requirement for students living in DBU housing.
It is easier and less expensive to complete the required medical forms in your home country
prior to your arrival in the United States. The completed medical form is a mandated regulation
by Federal Immigration and DBU.
