Campus Services
Around Dallas Shuttle - International Student Services will arrange free transportation for medical appointments, GMAT/GRE exams, airport rides, bank trips, special events, Social Security, Texas ID, or driver's license offices. There are also weekly scheduled shopping trips to Wal-Mart, Target, local malls, as well as ethnic markets.
Academic Orientation - Each semester DBU offers an introduction to the American educational system for both academic and IEP students.
On-going Services -
Tutoring - Once a week, peer tutors offer free assistance to international students in the International Center.
Mentoring - Individualized support can be arranged through International Student Services.
Counseling - Free individual sessions are available on campus.
Partners Around the World (PAW) - Monthly Saturday evening fellowships are held in an American home.
Student Associations - Students with special interests have the opportunity to participate in many of the international student associations on campus.
GMAT/GRE - Preparatory classes are offered each semester. International Student Services also provides free transportation to and from local testing sites.
International Center Computer Lab - The International Center Computer Lab is open early mornings, late evenings, and on the weekends for student's convenience. Free email logins are provided for each student in the DBU Computer Lab, in the Learning Center.
HotSpot Campus - The entire campus is wireless. In addition, easy internet access is provided for campus dorms, buildings, and apartments.
