Effective communication and efficient organizational structure are essential in any educational setting. The M.A. in Communication and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction dual degree program provides, through DBU'S Christian education, a platform on which students will gain an advanced understanding of the skills necessary to lead groups in an educational setting, whether in school or business. The skills and knowledge acquired through this degree plan will provide individuals with a deep understanding of the inner workings of curriculum planning and how to coordinate and lead work teams in the support and implementation of the institution's mission and vision.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
In order to pursue a Dual Master's Degree, the applicant must apply to, meet the existing admission requirements for, and be accepted into each of the master's degrees which comprise the dual degree program.
PROGRAM CONTINUANCE:
Continuance in the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction program past the first six (6) hours is pending submission of a satisfactory score on the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) or Graduate Record Examinations® (GRE®).
