Note: Eleven of the thirteen courses for the Master of Education in Educational Leadership are available online. The State Principal Certificate qualifies an individual for the principalship in grades Kindergarten through Twelve and for almost all positions in the central administration office except the Superintendency. The certificate requires the completion of the Educational Leadership Program, two years of teaching experience in an accredited school, and the passing of the state principal certification examination.
The following track in Educational Leadership is available only to International Students who will not be pursuing Texas State Principal Certification:
