Dallas Baptist University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Inquiries to the accreditors should relate only to the accreditation status of the institution. The teacher, principal, and superintendent education programs of the University are accredited by the State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC). Dallas Baptist University is nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) to offer the following business degrees: Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Bachelor of Business Studies (B.B.S.), Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), and Master of Arts in Management (M.A.M.) degrees. The Department of Music is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
