Curtis Floyd
For many years I was a manager of Information Systems Training for Shell Oil Company in Houston. Later I became Associate Chair of Computer Science Technology at Houston Community College. I supervised five fulltime and seven adjunct professors.
Of all my jobs in industry, I get the greatest enjoyment and fulfillment out of seeing students of all ages grow intellectually. It always gives me a thrill to be a part of ‘turning that light on’ indicating a person has learned something new. Nothing compares to helping others learn and I find that teaching is my ‘calling’ in developing servant/leaders.
