Martha Chiles (

An adjunct professor in the College of Business at Dallas Baptist University. Professor Chiles has been a member of the adjunct faculty since 2003.

She attended Howard University in Washington, D.C.and holds a BS (Science Education) from the University of North Texas and an MBA (Management of Information Systems) from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh (PITT).She has lived and worked in Dallas, TX, Richardson, TX., Pittsburgh, PA, Dayton, OH and Goteborg, Sweden.

Before coming to DBU she worked in a number of positions, among them, a Systems engineer (IBM Corporation), Business analyst (Parkland Health and Hospital System), Data Warehouse Consultant (A T & T Global Information Solutions), Technology Resource Manager (PriceWaterhouse Management Consulting), and Project Manager/Senior Trainer (VERIO) and as an Applications Consultant ( Ericsson Hewlett Packard, a strategic joint venture telecommunications company).

She is member of New Hope Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, where she serves on the Deaconess Ministry, as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Parent, and Director of the Hope Chest Ministry which supports a neighborhood school.
