The Master of Arts in Management program is designed to provide the knowledge and communication skills which are necessary to successfully lead today’s business organizations. The dual degree will prepare students to better manage the wide variety of businesses associated with fitness, wellness, physical therapy, health care providers, health care facilities, assisted living facilities, and retirement facilities.
The Master of Education in Kinesiology program will equip students with the intercultural and leadership skills needed to make significant contributions to the human endeavor in the field of kinesiology, whether in a corporate, educational, or commercial setting.
ADMISSION:
In order to pursue a Dual Master's Degree program, the applicant must apply to, meet the existing admission requirements for, and be accepted into each of the master's degrees which comprise the dual degree program.
PREREQUISITES:
Prerequisite course work must be satisfied for each degree program.
- M.A. in Management prerequisites are 4.5 hours at the 5000-level or 9 hours at the undergraduate level
PROGRAM CONTINUANCE:
Continuance in the M.A. in Management program past twelve (12) hours (unless pursuing the M.Ed. in Kinesiology teacher certification track, then 6 hours) pending submission of a satisfacotyr score on the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) or Graduate Record Examinations® (GRE®).
