Piano proficiency level IV must be passed prior to the student-teaching semester. One credit hour of applied secondary credit is given for successful completion of Class Piano I or II (MUSI 1117 or MUSI 1118). Students who choose piano as the applied concentration must have voice as the secondary area of applied study. |

| MUSIC ENSEMBLES |

All music majors must enroll in a major ensemble appropriate to their applied concentration every semester until graduation, except for the student teaching semester. Ensemble experience will include seven semesters in the Grand Chorus . |
