Randy Adams (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Randy serves as adjunct professor of music business/audio technology and teaches courses in Studio Engineering and Critical Listening. He holds a B.A.S. in Music Business and Biblical Studies from Dallas Baptist University.
Randy is a voting member of NARAS and LARAS, the Grammy organizations, elected to Board of Governors of the Texas Chapter in 2011, a member of the Audio Engineering Society, Society of Professional Audio Recording Studios, The Gospel Music Association, and Mensa. He has been nominated for several Latin Grammy awards and received the Hoku award from the Hawaiian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. As a singer/songwriter, Randy released "Songs from Seven Years" (1979) for StarSong Records. He also was a member of the Dallas Holm and Praise contemporary Christian music group (1975-1982).
Randy has had a prolific career in the recording industry, initially with Rodriguez Communications to construct and operate two recording facilities; Sierra Recording in Fort Worth, and Future Audio in Dallas. After 5 years, he formed his own company, AdamSound, (www.adamsound.com) which specializes in location recordings of large-scale live events, studio design, and audio engineering. Randy currently serves as audio engineer and consultant for First Baptist Church, Dallas, a post he previously held at Prestonwood Baptist Church, Plano. He is an engineer for Diante do Trono, one of the most successful Christian music groups in Brazil, and consulted on the construction of Diante do Trono Studios in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He built Selax studio in Minsk, Belarus; co-founded Selax.com, distributor of Russian worship music; and co-founded the Worship Symposium in Russia. Closer to home, Randy built the CFN Studio complex in partnership with Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas.

Before the projects listed on the website, Randy participated in many live and studio projects, commercial music projects, and film scores. For instance: several seasons of Country Crossroads and Gospel Music Jubilee for Family Net; recorded and mixed all of the music segments used in Ross Perot's campaign for president, many commercials for Braums, Fiesta Mart, Dairy Queen, Blue Bell, and others; film music for Quangle Wangle, an animated children's film from Hong Kong; film projects for the Assemblies of God Foreign Missions Department, and many live concert films.
