Our Commitment...
The Office of Financial Aid at Dallas Baptist University seeks to
support the goals of the University through its mission statement:
"To counsel, serve, and assist students in obtaining adequate
financial assistance to allow them to meet the financial obligations
associated with their attendance at DBU in pursuit and fulfillment of
their educational goals while maintaining the equitable and efficient
administration of federal, state, institutional, and private financial resources of the University."
The Financial Aid Process Simplified
Students interested in federal and/or state financial assistance should review the steps below
to ensure they are awarded in a timely manner
for the academic year in which they are applying.
STEP NUMBER ONE -
Financial Aid Applications
These annual applications (both the FASFA and our own DBU Supplemental Application) provide our office with information needed to determine a student's availability of financial aid programs for awarding.
Both applications are available online and may be accessed by clicking on the link in the appropriate boxes below.
To be eligible for financial aid a student must be enrolled at least halftime (6 hrs as an Undergraduate and 4.5 hrs as a Master student) and enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
Remember, the earlier in the year a student applies, the greater the opportunity for a student to receive maximum financial aid funds. There is a PRIORITY DEADLINE to be considered for MAXIMUM assistance for Fall 2011.
