Do dress appropriately for the position   Don't be underdressed
Do arrive fifteen minutes early for the interview   Don't chew gum
Do have patience   Don't be unprofessional in attitude and manner
Do carry a pen   Don't use poor grammar
Do fill out the application legibly and completely   Don't lie
Do show interest in the company and be prepared with questions   Don't be afraid to talk about your strengths
Do have a clear career path   Don't be vague and uncertain about your career goals
Do show confidence and poise   Don't slouch
Do be open-minded   Don't say that you have no weaknesses
Do be honest and truthful   Don't make excuses
Do focus on the positive   Don't condemn past employers or employees
Do look the interviewer in the eye   Don't forget to thank the interviewer for his/her time
