The DBU Computer Lab hours are
as follows:

What's available?
- Over 100 PCs w/ Windows 98
- MS Office XP on all PCs
- Internet Access
- E-mail (including off-campus access)
- Laser Printers (350 pages per semester
for students, extra are $0.10 each)
- 2 Flatbed Color Scanners (pictures and
text)
- 5 MB of Personal space on server for saving
files (P: drive)
- Multimedia capabilities, including sound,
are available for some programs, but a student MUST bring
his/her own headphones
- Student ID cards for new students

Multimedia capabilities, including sound,
are available for some programs, but a student MUST bring
his/her own headphones. In addition, 2 computers with voice
recognition, screen reading, and screen magnification software
are available for students with special needs. There is also
a small Computer Lab on the 4th Floor of the New Dorm for
girls only.
Setup
In order to use the Computer Lab, a student MUST obtain his/her
own login ID by presenting a DBU ID card with the current
semester sticker and signing a computer usage policy outlining
University guidelines regarding the use of computers on campus.
Once this login ID is obtained a student will be able to access
the Computer Lab resources including the Internet and his/her
own individual E-mail address.
Services
The Computer Lab does not offer tutoring; however, assistance
will be provided to students whenever possible as long as
the request is reasonable and does not violate any University
policies. Manuals and books are available for the major applications
used in the Computer Lab.
Dorm Internet Access
Most of the dorms have been cabled for access to the Internet
and E-mail. To see if your room can be set up for this service,
contact a member of the staff in the Computer Lab.
Questions
If there are any questions regarding the DBU Computer
Lab especially as it relates to policies, software, and hardware,
students are encouraged to contact the Information Technology
Department at ext. 5282 or stop by the DBU Computer Lab.
