MALA 5318 (3-3-0) American Political Tradition
A study of American political ideas from colonial times to the present with special emphasis placed on the political thought of the nation's founders, the political party system, and contemporary ideological debates. This 5000-level course is cross-listed with a 4000-level course and includes specific graduate course requirements which reflect appropriate deeper learning experiences and rigor in the higher-level course. Spring, odd-numbered years.
Prerequisite: 6 hours in political science or instructor approval.
