EDSC 6316 (3-3-0) Practicum for School Counseling: Field Experience (S-L)
Practical, on-the-job, supervised and evaluated field experiences that provide the foundation for internship experiences. Students develop conceptual and professional skills related to their practice at a field site. Students learn the procedures for evaluating counseling and guidance programs in the areas of a learner-centered guidance curriculum, learner-centered planning, learner-centered responsive services, and learner-centered system support. This course contains a field-based service-learning component. Fall, Spring.
Prerequisite: EDSC 6310. Open only to students in the Master of Education in School Counseling Program.
