EDUC 5369   (3-3-0)   Montessori Early Childhood Classroom Leadership
The MAT with Montessori specialization is designed for students who are seeking a Master of Arts in Teaching with Montessori specialization concentrations Early Childhood (2.5 – 6 year old child) and Elementary Level I (6–9 year old child). This course provides the MAT with Montessori specialization Early Childhood concentration student the philosophy and rationale of the Early Childhood (2.5 through 6 years of age) Montessori early childhood classroom leadership. Classroom organization, discipline, record keeping, state and local regulations, teacher/student/parent relationships, curriculum design, student observations, and action research will be the focus of the course.   Fall.
Prerequisite: Meet the DBU Graduate School admissions requirements, EDUC 5361, 5362, 5363, and 5364.
