COUN 6382 (3-3-0) Psychopathology
A study of psychopathology to aid the student in understanding problems of definition and classification of abnormal human behavior; development of skill in making diagnoses; a working knowledge of the diagnostic categories in the DSM-IV; and an understanding of the varying philosophies relative to diagnosis and treatment of abnormal behavior. The student will gain an appreciation of the interaction of Christian belief systems with a view of normal and abnormal behavior. Spring, Fall.
Prerequisite: COUN 5380, 5382.
