ENSC 2304 (3-3-0) Foundations of Environmental Science II This continued introductory course surveys significant historical environmental disasters; focusing on the causes, impacts, and cures. Problem solving and critical thinking techniques applicable to the scientific method as applied in the environmental field will be stressed. Presentations and discussion papers concerning current environmental issues will be presented by the students. Introductory mathematics techniques common to the Environmental Science field will be covered. This is the second course in the Environmental Science curriculum; however, it is open to anyone with a desire to focus on problem solving and critical analysis techniques. This course does not fulfill the requirements for general studies science courses.
Spring. Prerequisite: MATH 1303 or Math Advising Tool for entrance into MATH 1405.
