PHSC 1401 (4-3-2) Physical Science A lab-oriented investigation into the nature of solid matter and the physical universe, emphasizing the necessity to ask questions and the importance of scientific hypothesizing. The course includes the study of laws regarding mechanics, matter, heat, energy, and wave motion. The study of matter in the astronomical realm also may be included. The course is designed for the non-science major. Lab fee. Fall. Prerequisite: None.
