MATH 2309 (3-3-0) Introduction to Linear Algebra An introduction to the fundamentals of linear algebra, including Gaussian elimination, solution of systems of linear equations, finite dimensional vector spaces, matrices, and determinants. The main emphasis of the course is on applications and computational methods, with a view to facilitate the use of linear algebra in computer science and the natural and social sciences. Fall, Spring. Prerequisite: MATH 1303 or 1307 or Math Advising Tool.
