EDUC 1301 (3-3-0) Teacher Education Seminar This course presents a unique, realistic, field-based introduction to education and career. Goals are to expose students to the realities, challenges, and rewards of this career choice. Components will include the examination of intrapersonal and interpersonal skills students need to develop into successful teachers. Through interaction in the classroom and frequent exposure to educational settings, students gain knowledge of how to apply servant leadership in their careers as educators. Observations in local schools required. Fall, Spring. Prerequisite: None.
