EDUC 4608   (6-0-0)   Student Teaching
This course provides students seeking certification the opportunity to observe, assist, and teach under the supervision of experienced teachers in locally accredited schools. Students will be required to (a) provide their own transportation to the schools, (b) participate in pre-service training during the Fall semester of the school year (including those students who will student teach during the Spring semester of the academic year), and (c) successfully complete student teaching for a minimum of twelve weeks. This course must be taken as part of the student teaching semester. Fall, Spring.
Prerequisite: All courses on a student’s degree plan are prerequisites for student teaching.
