EDUC 4306 (3-0-0) Student Teaching in the Secondary School This course provides students seeking all-level certification the opportunity to observe, assist, and teach under the supervision of experienced teachers in locally accredited schools. Students will be required to (a) provide their own transportation to the schools, (b) participate in pre-service training during the Fall semester of the school year (including those students who will student teach during the Spring semester of the academic year), and (c) successfully complete student teaching for a minimum of twelve weeks (student is to be concurrently enrolled in EDUC 4307; six weeks of student teaching is required for each course). This course must be taken as part of the student teaching semester. Fall, Spring. Prerequisite: All courses on a student’s degree plan are prerequisites for student teaching.
