EDUC 3320 (3-3-0) Instructional Assessment
This course is required for all certification students in the College of Education. The teacher candidate will explore the full range of assessment in the classroom. Candidates will be asked to define and recognize norm referenced and criterion referenced assessments, differentiate among formative, diagnostic, and summative assessments, use each of these to remediate instructional gaps, and create and implement a candidate work sample. Fall.
Prerequisite: EDUC 3313 Introduction to Teacher Certification.
