EDUC 1301 (3-3-0) Teacher Education Seminar This course will present a unique, realistic, field-based introduction to education as a career. The goals of this course will be to expose students to the realities, challenges, and rewards of this exciting career choice. Components will include the examination of the intrapersonal and interpersonal skills students will need to develop to become successful teachers. Through interactions in the classrooms and frequent exposure to educational settings, students will gain further knowledge of how to apply servant leadership in their future careers as educators. Observations in local schools are required. Fall, Spring. Prerequisite: None.
