COSC 3306   (3-3-0)   Networks and Telecommunication
Design and analysis of computer networks. Basic concepts: background and architecture of the Internet; five-layer and seven-layer reference models; TCIP/IP; packet switching; transport protocols; flow control; congestion control; local area networks; routing; network application architectures such as client/server. Spring.
Prerequisite: COSC 3305.
