Master of Arts in Family Ministry
Jason Caillier, M.A., Director

*PLEASE NOTE: This degree plan is for students who begin the program in the Fall 2014 Semester.

The Master of Arts in Family Ministry is designed to equip ministers to be servant leaders in order to understand the needs of families, explore the principles of best strategies in biblical family formation, and implement ministries that impact families in different phases of life. While the focus of this degree is to design ways to impact families proactively in the formation process, other components will attempt to address the therapeutic issues of life as they arise developmentally and from crisis. The program will provide foundations in theological, educational, and practical programming for effective family ministry. It will combine academic training and practical ministry application that will focus intentionally on the world families live in and the faith they need to follow Christ.

Student Testimonial

"Seeing the kids I teach and how disconnected they and their families are from the church, the Master of Arts in Family Ministry gives me an opportunity to learn how to reach whole families and help connect them to Jesus. Our influence from outside a kid's family is so limited compared to that of the kid's parents. In my courses, I'm learning how to design strategies that help connect parents and children to experience Jesus together. The opportunity to study online has allowed me the freedom to continue to focus on my own family as I sharpen my skills in ministry." - Jason Anderson
