The Graduate School of Ministry engages students seeking theological training in their ministry callings. The wide range of Master of Arts degree offerings include: Christian Education, Children's Ministry, Student Ministry, Family Ministry, Christian Ministry (including Chaplaincy), Global Leadership, Theology and Worship Leadership. The university-model degree programs are designed to prepare students to impact culture through practical ministry in the church, community and the world.

Mission Statement


The purpose of Dallas Baptist University is to provide Christ-centered quality higher education in the arts, sciences, and professional studies at both the undergraduate and graduate levels to traditional age and adult students in order to produce servant leaders who have the ability to integrate faith and learning through their respective callings.

What degree programs are offered through the Graduate School of Ministry?

The Graduate School of Ministry offers the following degree programs:

M.A. in Children's Ministry
M.A. in Christian Counseling (New!)

M.A. in Christian Education
M.A. in Christian Ministry

M.A. in Family Ministry (New!)
M.A. in Global Leadership

M.A. in Student Ministry
M.A. in Theological Studies
M.A. in Worship Leadership

Advanced Certificates, Accelerated Bachelors and Master's Degrees, and Dual Master's Degrees are also offered in addition to these.

Where is your office located and when is it open?

The Graduate School of Ministry is located on the third floor of the Pilgrim Chapel. The offices are open Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, except during the noon lunch hour.

How do I make an appointment with a faculty member?

Please contact the appropriate assistant for the program faculty with whom you would like to meet.


How much does the program cost?

Current tuition costs can be found in the current course schedule under the financial information section.

What about financial aid?

We strongly encourage all students to apply for financial aid through our University Financial Aid Department. Call 214-333-5363 or refer to for information.
